The Festival Volunteer Fair will be held on Wednesday, May 14 from 3 - 7 p.m. at the TransAlta Arts Barns at 10330 84 Avenue - in the heart of Old Strathcona. The estimated number of volunteers required by Edmonton's festivals is about 5000 people! Our festivals are a source of community pride and an important element in the quality of life for Edmontonians in the summer - and beyond! About 48% of Edmontonians donate their time and support in a formal way throughout the year. Volunteer Edmonton is excited to be part of this special volunteer fair which will provide a unique opportunity to involve the 52% of folks who don't formally volunteer - in addition to those who already do!
