Summer/Fall Programs

Cityfarm

City Farm is a place of discovery where people of all ages can learn and discover urban and rural environments and their inter-relationships with plants and animals, the importance of the seasons and the relationship between all of these.

What do people do at City Farm?

  1. Experience the full growing cycle including planting, nurture, harvest and food preparation; and

  2. Participate in exciting projects to explore aspen parkland with all of its diverse flora and fauna; and

  3. Watch a full growing cycle in the lives of chickens, care for animals, build shelters and prepare food; and

  4. Learn through experience by doing projects and thinking through problems and ideas, as well as direct contact with different environments, materials and, especially, others with the same interests.

To get involved visit www.city-farm.org or call 488-2500.
