Quarterly Grants Program

The Quarterly Grants Program supports community service non-profit organizations in their ability to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow by investing in the lives of people from children to older persons – to live in strong, caring and healthy communities. The Quarterly Grants Program goes beyond providing financial resources by working with others in our communities to support life-enhancing programs and services.

Organization Eligibility Criteria:

  • Organizations that have been legally registered for one year under either a) Societies Act of Alberta; b) Companies Act of Alberta, Part 9; c) Business Corporations Act of Alberta, Part 21; d) Income Tax Act of Canada and registered in the Province of Alberta; or e) Special Act of Parliament of Canada (e.g. Legion, Elks, etc.).
  • The nature and scope of programs and services are health, social service or community service oriented.
  • Current operating cash reserve funds (unrestricted and internally restricted) do not exceed one year’s operating expenses.
  • Amounts received through community fundraising activities must be equal to or greater than the grant amount requested. These amounts can either be cash funds raised or a combination of cash, donated goods and services, and volunteer time.
  • Have not been approved for a grant under the Wild Rose Foundation’s Quarterly Grants Program in the last three years; and,
  • Have completed and satisfied all reporting requirements for any past grant awarded by the Wild Rose Foundation.

Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP)

Objective: To provide financial assistance for the expansion and upgrading of Alberta’s extensive network of community-use facilities.

Types of Grants: The program provides matching grants to municipalities, Indian Bands and Metis Settlements, and registered community non-profit groups to build, purchase, repair, renovate, or otherwise improve related family and community wellness facilities.
