Co-sponsoring Programs With the City of Edmonton

Many community leagues work with their Community Recreation Coordinator to provide programs in co-sponsorship with the City of Edmonton Community Services Department. The majority of these programs are for children and operate during the summer months. Typical examples include the free drop in "green shack" playground program.

The EFCL and the City of Edmonton Community Services Department have worked together to define roles and responsibilities with respect to co-sponsored summer programs and have documented this in a standard summer program agreement.
