Early Release of City Reports now Possible

Did you ever wish you had more time to review city administration reports before they went to Council? A few days is just not long enough for you as a volunteer to read the report and get your league executive together to prepare a response for a City Council meeting.     Under a new procedure, supported by EFCL and adopted by City Council, you can now request a longer time to review a specific report. To request an early release of a report, contact your ward Councillor and cc the Office of the City Clerk by contacting Colleen.Johnston@edmonton.ca (780-496-8160).   The Agenda Review Committee will decide whether or not your request is granted.   If granted, the report will be put on a Council or Council Committee agenda but will not be discussed until a later date. If you request more time to review a report, please let us know how it went.
