Since 2006 the City’s Planning and Development Department has been designing new rules for how future change will happen in our neighbourhoods.  Under the heading of Smart Choices, the Department is defining what kinds of “infill” housing, ranging from single family homes on much smaller lots to high rise apartments in large projects, will be allowed to replace existing housing in Edmonton’s communities. UPDATED ARTICLE
