A total of 1,016 Edmonton homes – a new record – have been nominated for an award in this year’s  Front Yards in Bloom contest.
Designed to encourage people to beautify their yard and take pride in their neighborhood, the contest has reached new heights this year due to greater community involvement.

The City of Edmonton and EFCL Assist Leagues with the Green Shack Program

The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues, and the City of Edmonton have joined together to assist community groups who were unsuccessful in receiving STEP grant funding for their summer programs. There were 12 community groups that indicated their summer programs would not proceed as planned after not receiving a STEP grant.
