Transit Oriented Development Policy and Guidelines Approved by the Executive Committee of Council, February 8, 2012.  (For details go to Feb 8 Agenda and click on TOD Policy and Guidelines.)   The EFCL argued that the TOD policy should focus more on creating quality neighbourhoods with adequate amenities and family housing, while the West Jasper Community League advocated for a minimum portion of single family homes in all Neighbourhood Station areas, taking into account the density which already exists in neighbourhoods.      Council indicated there would be funding for TOD Plans which would address the neighbourhood quality concerns.
