Capital City Clean Up has started a new program that can help leagues respond to problems with Graffiti. New for 2010, the Community Mural Matching Grant Program offers up to $2,000 to support non-profit community agencies that develop murals in Edmonton neighbourhoods. A mural may be placed on private and public structures, with the property owners’ permission. The goal is to deter graffiti and create a shared responsibility for graffiti prevention in Edmonton.
Community mural grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no limit on the number of times an applicant can apply. There is a limit to the funds available under the program, so please apply early. Leagues interested in the program may fill out relevant form available at the CCCU website
