Are you concerned about Edmonton’s environment? Share your thoughts on how to make our city more environmentally sustainable by taking part in The Way We Green.
The Way We Green will be Edmonton’s long-term environmental strategic plan which will help move the city toward the goal of becoming environmentally sustainable.
Over the past months, the City of Edmonton has worked with experts and representatives from business, non-profit, post-secondary, community and other groups to help form the basic ideas of what should be included in The Way We Green. Now we need your input.
If you’re interested in hosting your own The Way We Green discussion with friends, family, neighbours or co-workers, send an e-mail to email@example.com
and we can make arrangements to get workbooks and other materials to you. For larger groups, like at a community league meeting, we can arrange to bring City staff out to lead a workshop with you. We also have a public open house planned for the fall. Check the website for more details on time and place. You might also see our student researchers at events around the city in August. They’re talking to people about environmental sustainability and doing surveys using iPads. All of the information we gather will be used to help develop The Way We Green plan.
