On June 8, five community leagues in the south west - Heritage Point, Twin Brooks, Yellow Bird, Blue Quill and Duggan, arranged a Resource Fair and Pancake Breakfast for South West seniors at the Blue Quill Community League Hall. The EFCL provided information on its projects and programs and handed brochures and newsletters to the participants.
The pancake breakfast was coordinated by Laura Shewchuk, South West Community Recreation Coordinator. Laura urged the seniors to take active part in their respective community league and use league facilities and programs. A big thank you to Laura for arranging the event.
