Connections 2010 --Shaping the Future of Where We Live. Together. The City of Edmonton, led by the Office of Great Neighbourhoods, is hosting three Connections 2010 events in April 2010 to inform Edmontonians of the many current and upcoming City projects, programs and services happening in their neighbourhoods and build stronger connections between residents and City staff.
In keeping with this year's theme, "Shaping the Future of Where We Live. Together.", representatives from all of the City departments, Edmonton Public Library and Edmonton Police Services will be on hand to share information and discuss City-delivered projects, programs and services with residents. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about what the City is doing in your neighbourhood and meet some of the people doing it!
Three Connections 2010 events are scheduled:
- April 15 -- Taylor University College & Seminary, 11525 23 Avenue, from 4 to 8 p.m.
- April 22 -- Mayfield Inn & Suites Convention Centre, 16615 109 Avenue, from 4 to 8 p.m.
- April 29 -- Alberta Aviation Museum, 11410 Kingsway Avenue, from 4 to 8 p.m.
You are encouraged to attend the event closest to your home address, as some of the displays and information will be tailored to suit the area surrounding the event location. Children are welcome to attend. Free parking is available at all locations.
