Inspired by the willingness of people to make "one small change" Reymund Palpal-latoc of Central McDougall Community League and Lorenzo Pagnotta, Outreach Coordinator for Project Porchlight managed to distribute 300 of the bulbs in his local office building.
"Reymund volunteered to deliver CFLs throughout his neighbourhood in Edmonton. He even took to bringing light bulbs when he went out socially, distributing them to friends and colleagues. “In a lot of cases, it’s just about letting people know and making them aware of the little things that they can do,” he says. “Sometimes those little things are almost effortless, but the effect of those things can make a big difference.”
