Accidents, and particularly street and highway accidents, do not happen - they are caused.  ~Ernest Greenwood

EFCL and Community leagues appreciate City consideration of lowering speed limits. EFCL has historically maintained a position on behalf of leagues which insists lower speed reduce death and serious injury on our community roads. The City is introducing some significant initiatives, for example Speed Watch and Community Response Van programs. Communities will benefit from improved safety of road traffic systems through these new initiatives. EFCL is taking an active part of the speed limit assessment and is collaborating with Traffic Safety to address road safety challenges. Please share your ideas and commit your support to these initiatives.
