We are very pleased to announce the official launch of our highly anticipated On-Line Application effective December 1, 2011!     http://facilityrental.ca    The FPB Short Term Hall Rental program has been in existence since 2007 and is regularly used by many of our community leagues. The program was specifically designed by FPB to protect the community leagues from exposure of their Third Party facility renters.  We believe that the convenience and ease of the new on-line application process, will encourage many more community leagues and their renters to take advantage of the program and its benefits.

Why is obtaining Renters Insurance important?

It is especially important for the protection of the community league, that any user group provide proof of insurance coverage for their special events and activities. In the absence of this coverage, any claim caused by the third party renter’s activities, could fall to the community league policy or the individual renter personally. The exposure to both parties drastically increases when the function involves alcohol.

FPB Short Term Facility Rental insurance is available to a broad scope of renters. Placing coverage for any function, from birthday parties and weddings to community gatherings. is now made even more convenient on-line.

Here’s how it works...

1. Click on the FPB application link: http://facilityrental.ca   

2. Complete application – information instantly populates each field and offers “tool tips” for additional assistance, if needed

3. Credit Card payment submitted to and verified through PayPal

4. Confirmation of Insurance emailed to applicant (PDF format certificate – allow one business day for processing)

This program provides a simple and economical solution for the invaluable protection of the renter and the community league. We strongly recommend that all community leagues incorporate this coverage requirement into their regular rental procedures.
