Trade Show a Success From Every Angle

Community League Board Members arrived in hoards as we opened and from the comments they got what they came for.  Many popped by the EFCL booth to thank us for in one place bringing them together with so many contacts relevant to league operations.  Over 300 individuals attended and enjoyed the giveaways, luncheon, and very useful information.

A lot of not for profit partners used the opportunity to network among themselves and promote their various programs to the leagues - driving programs for seniors, crime watch programs, cultural involvement programs and so much more.  In addition, the businesses on exhibition were extremely pleased to have a captive target market for many of the services and supplies they provided.

"In the ten days last summer at a Toronto Trade Show I did not reach as many target customers as I did in the four hours here," said Flex Court Canada. "We will be back next year for sure."

"We promoted this to all of our leagues, gathered their input, and brought what they needed to the trade show floor," said Michael Janz, Marketing Director of EFCL and lead coordinator of the event.  " I already have feature presenters wanting to secure their spots for next year they were so pleased with the response."

If you know of a service or supplier who has served your league well and should be contacted for next year, have them get in touch with EFCL at michael.janz@efcl.org and get on the notification list.  To help us plan a better event next year, please fill out the survey online if you attended the event.

I spent a good part of Sat. at the trade fair and found it useful and exciting for all the new ideas that we got. Thank you for setting this up. I give a 5 star rating.
