The rain came but not before the fans got to cheer over a lot of touchdowns and Community League Volunteers managed to give away 1000 Community League footballs to young Eskimo fans and to shake hands with a lot of parents from our communities.  Community leagues were up in lights for the first time ever on the jumbotron through out the game.

Calder Community League's Penny Villeneuve & 5 lucky friends and family visit the Community League Booth at Commonwealth Stadium.

Volunteers (left to right) Laura Thygesen, Christine Bremner, Brendan Bolstad, and Tom Bremner greet Eskimo fans.

Far left, Steve Hala guides Penny from locker room to VIP seats.  Far right, David Dodge, EFCL Director and Evansdale Community League President welcomes them to the booth.

Part of Penny's prize in addition to the coveted seats and dinner in the VIP Gold & Green Room, was a pre-game locker room tour and drive around at field level.  What an awesome prize just for being a member of a community league.

Thanks to our co sponsors of the game, Realtors Association of Edmonton, Foster Park Baskett Insurance, & the City of Edmonton, and to our volunteers who made this happen.
