INCREASED COVERAGE OF LEAGUE HEROES & EVENTS
By admin @ 11:48 AM :: 1748 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Community Programs & Activities, EFCL News

 At our Volunteer event we headlined two of the wonderful Shaw League Features whose subjects were selected from last year’s winners. Again this year, Shaw will be sending crews to film these amazing heroes and their projects in the community, With the help of Nancy Rempel, our league interviewer, Edmonton Examiner Columnist, and President of Bonnie Doon Community League, we have lined up an escalated program of televised specials about our league heroes on Shaw TV, plus there will be two calendars to announce community league events in both the Examiner and on Shaw, and interviews will be aired on CBC radio.

HOW DOES MY LEAGUE GET COVERED? Nominate your volunteers and post your events on the www.efcl.org/activities/calendar.   Find out how online. This calendar is for league events only and receives a good deal of our site’s 65,000 hits per month.    Contact Nancy Rempel at Nancy.Rempel@efcl.org   or at 780-440-9727.          When at all possible these interview specials will be advertised in advance on our calendar.
