Many of the recommendations suggested by Community Leagues and highlighted in EFCL’s report have been incorporated into the Task Force’s report. (Go to edmonton.ca and search for “Elevate”.)
The report focuses on three areas: a) the creation of a multi-jurisdictional body to design a “new urban agenda”, b) introduction of community-driven approaches including asset-based development plans, and c) promotion of life-long learning and the expanded uses of schools for people of all ages.
