We agree with keeping the river valley. Our major concern is what about the rest of Edmonton? In north east Edmonton all we are told is that there is NO money. Natural areas, parklands and smaller wetlands are gone and the city says we have NO money to save these areas. Now they have money for river valley and ravine. What about the ravine area up in North East Edmonton where the proposed stock yards were to go? North east Edmonton has the smallest district park and very few natural areas or wetlands and we keep losing them. Other parts of the city need the same thing as the river valley. We would ask that the city council make an amendment to include all parts of the city and protect the natural areas, green spaces and more parkland all over the city not just the river valley. I would like to hear from our councilors. Gordon Harris
